Giuliani Stumps For Rubio

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani will campaign for Marco Rubio Monday. There is no better way for Rubio to secure votes than the backing of a presidential candidate who banked on Florida and got his ass kicked. The best way for Rubio to show his conservative credentials is appear along side a drag queen.

Parts of America have unemployment levels above 10 percent. 47 million Americans do not have health insurance. Wages have become stagnant. Giuliani's message is the poor are getting too much. Those people making $250,000-a-year are suffering. Republicans wonder why they have had credibility problems on economic matters.

Rudy returns to the political landscape with a message that will lead the GOP out of the political wilderness. Rudy's crafts a message is that will resonate with voters during these difficult economic times. Rudy's message is tax dollars for CEO bonuses is good for the economy.

"If you somehow take that bonus out of the economy, it really will create unemployment," he said on CNN's "American Morning." "It means less spending in restaurants, less spending in department stores, so everything has an impact."

That should play well in middle America.

The day before the Florida primary, Rudy Giuliani repeatedly predicts he will win Florida. The best Rudy in Florida moment was Giuliani driving his bus on the Daytona International Speedway. I don't want Rudy to ever become President. I do miss the comic insanity of his 2008 campaign.

Rudy's Back

Thank God Rudy Giuliani is back in the limelight. Giuliani is always good for unintended comedy gems. His latest is that China will soon be drilling off the coast of Florida. Mel Martinez debunked this myth.

Why is it that Republicans that got loads of big oil money know more about China's drilling intentions than the Florida government or media? Maybe because people like Giuliani is pulling this out of his ass.

Now if only Fred Thompson and Katherine Harris would reappear. I could run a 100 posts-a-day.

Huckabee Leads In Florida

The latest Rasmussen poll shows Mike Huckabee leading Republican contenders in Florida. It is not surprising, I said before that Rudy Giuliani is on a downward spiral. Factor in Giuliani's Florida scandal with Seisint and we aren't not looking at a candidate that screams frontrunner.
