Told You So

I remember telling the Peer Review gang that Joe Negron showed horrible political instincts lobbying to be the Republican to fill Mark Foley's spot on the ballot. Peer Review posts that Joe Negron announced he will not challenge Tim Mahoney in 2008.

Republicans in Washington gave up on District 16. That didn't stop the blinded-partisans at Peer Review from proclaiming Negron the future victor. Negron was a weak candidate who lost in the Republican primary for Attorney General. Then he had the brainstorm to run in a race that Foley's name would be on the ballot. Peer Review didn't see any hurdles in an election year that Republicans are polling poorly.

Short answer: Peer Review will always tell you the Republican candidate will win.
