Turn Florida Blue

This is a nice little story about the power of the netroots.

Pensacola Voter sent out an S.O.S. to Daily Kos readers. Candidate Liz Campbell won a Special Election Primary. This gave Democrats an opportunity to pick up another seat in the Florida House of Representatives. The Florida Democratic Party will not give Campbell any money. After a year of promises; the FDP tell Campbell they are out of money. Examples like this is why Democrats are the minority party in Florida.

Tally at Florida Kossacks then wrote a post about Campbell's plight.

Pensacola Voter reports that Daily Kos readers chipped in $2165 in a day's time. Campbell was able to raise $1600 from her supporters. Now the Campbell campaign can mass mail absentee ballots. That makes a big difference in GOTV.

Come on kids, let's pick up another seat in the House. Help Liz Campbell win.

Why would we want to turn our state blue. With the democrats in charge of Congress now we are blue enough. Florida and the Republicans rock.
