More On Stand Your Ground

I got this news article from a distant relative of Mike Frazzini. He is a decorated Amry helicopter pilot. He is a husband and father of two sons. He was shot by Todd Rasmussen. Who claimed that Frazzini wore a ski mask and threatened him with a baseball bat. So he felt threatened and defended himself under the stand your ground law.

Let's make this clear. I'm on the fence about this case. I'm sorry for Frazzini and his family. I want to find out what the truth is.

A message board pokes some holes in Rasmussen's story. What I'm reading is that there is debate about the ski mask. Rasmussen has borrowed money from Frazzini's mother and harrassed her. She lives next door to Rasmussen. There is debate on on which yard the shooting took place.

The only thing I have found on Frazzini is that he was a member of ESPN's Oddball message board. The message board stated that Rasmussen's son Corey was at home during the shooting and he has a serious criminal record. Cory Rasmussen has two violent crime and a stolen handgun arrests. Those message board accusations proved be true.

Free Republic finds the incident amusing. It's always interesting reading the brave words of 35 year-old guys who still live with their mothers.

There is seems to be serious community outrage over the shooting. I hope the police do a proper investigation. There should be no lingering doubt Todd Rasmussen's guilt or innocence.
