This is a wonderful animated short film. I found myself smiling at the end.

Terry Kemple Off of the Diversity Council

Via Stogie: This gave me a laugh when I read it on his blog. Hillsborough County commissioners Al Higginbotham and Ken Hagan are shocked that Christian Right activist Terry Kemple was disqualified from the new diversity council. The National Diversity Council disqualified Kemple after he sent an email to supporters disparaging the county's new diversity council for being used to promote homosexuality. Apparently, Kemple fails to understand that the whole point of a diversity council is to not discriminate against people.

“Whether you like Kemple or not, they had no criteria for excluding him,” said Commissioner Al Higginbotham. “I have great trouble with that.”

Actually, there is a good reason not to appoint Kemple to the diversity council. Kemple has a history of being anti-gay, believes evolution is fantasy, has shown racist tendencies towards Muslims and is a silly man.

This is the man that Higginbotham and Hagan feel to they need to back to appeal to the base. Kemple race for the Hillsborough County school board and lost badly. Kemple once held a press conference that was attended by no one. Kemple is an embarrassment. For a guy that is supposed to be the most powerful Christian Right activist in Tampa, you would think he would have more than 167 followers. sOmehow I am not surprised that more people don't want to read tweets like this.

Bill O'Reilly is mad at The Simpsons for making fun of Fox News. Proving once again O'Reilly has no sense of humor. What makes matters worse for O'Reilly is that The Simpsons clip he shows is hysterical.

Michael Steele Follies

Michael Steele shares his musical taste with GQ.

I like Sinatra. I like old-school. You know, Bing Crosby, Sinatra, Dean Martin. Love Dean Martin. He was one of these guys who just didn’t give an F. He just didn’t. Life was a party, and you either want to party or you don’t. But yeah, I like those. I’m a big Pack Rat. I love the Pack Rats from the 1950s—Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Frank Sinatra, those guys.

Steele is bad. He said the F letter. "Pack Rats" sounds lot a section the Cheeseheads sit in at Lambeau Field.

Steele was interviewed by columnist Cal Thomas. Steele ripped into fellow Republicans calling for his resignation.

Said Steele: "The mice who are scurrying about the Hill are upset because they no longer have access to the cheese, so they don't know what's going on."

When did Michael Steele start talking like the cartoon cat Mr. Jinx? Republican meeses. Michael Steele hates them to pieces.

The Big Valley Girl Meets L'il Abner in The Matrix

I like to have a little fun with mash-ups in the actual cartoon as well as the post titles. What does The Big Valley have to do with any of this? Absolutely nothing, except some curious Barney will stumble here wanting to know what Zencomix has to say about The Big Valley. Yup, that ought to drive traffic up! Maybe not as much as say..."Britney's sister's shaved pussy meets L'il Abner In The Matrix", but that's a cartoon for another day.
