Romney Seeks the Little Green Footballs Vote

This is old, but still worth posting.

Mitt Romney yuks it up with wingnuts at a campaign rally The fact that they think that Osama bin Laden is a laughing matter is disturbing enough. Equating two public servants with a murdering terrorist is below contempt.

Romney is so desperate to become President that he will pander to hatemongers. His 180 degree turn on abortion and gay rights is proof of that. Romney's response was that we need to "lighten up." He would feel differently if a DEmocratic candidate compared him to a terrorist. His campaign spokesman Kevin Madden sent this hysterical bs email to TPM Election Central.

"I don’t think it was equating or comparing anyone."

Madden either has a reading comprehension problem or he is lying. Neither answer is reassuring.
