Wingnut of the Day: Kathy Perkins

Moms With Guns Demand Action founder Kathy Perkins thought it was a good idea to joke about assassinating President Barack Obama on Facebook. Why? Because Perkins believes in liberty and she is a patriot. I wonder if Perkins considers Lee Harvey Oswald and John Wilkes Booth patriots. Oswald defected to Russia and declared himself a communist. Booth wrote that President Lincoln was "making himself a king" by attempting to end slavery. Because Booth thought slavery was so awesome. What is interesting is so-called patriots like Perkins accuse Obama of acting like a king.

Tea Party Nation kicked out the big caps keys with a post titled "“IMPEACH AND ARREST THE TYRANT KING OBAMA!!" Apparently, one exclamation point wasn't enough.

The tea party seems to appreciate Russian President Vladimir Putin's leadership more than Obama's. TeaParty.Org ran a story on failed presidential candidate Rudolph Giuliani saying Putim is a stronger leader than Obama.

Russian President Vladimir “Putin decides what he wants to do, and he does it in half a day,” the former GOP presidential candidate said Monday on Fox News Channel’s ”Your World with Neil Cavuto.”

Putin, Giuliani said, makes a decision and executes it quickly.

“Then everybody reacts. That’s what you call a leader. President Obama, he’s got to think about it. He’s got to go over it again. He’s got to talk to more people about it,” Giuliani said.

Putin's style of leadership is jailing the punk band Pussy Riot for protesting Russian government policies. Putin has also bashed the LGBT community for political gain. Putin's policies towards gays are the tea party's wet dream. Judson Phillips, of the Tea Party Nation, was upset that Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer vetoed a bill that would allow businesses to not serve gays. The legislation was a Jim Crow styled law against the LGBT community. Phillips was outraged that gays would not be legally discriminated against in Arizona.

The left and the homosexual lobby in America went into overdrive to kill this bill. Conservatives rallied for this bill and Governor Brewer opted for cowardice instead of courage.

Why is this bill so important and what did it mean for not only Arizona but America? The issue can be boiled down to one word: Freedom.

A free man or woman controls their labor. A slave has no control over their labor. A free man or woman decides who they will work for and under what conditions. The slave cannot.

The left and the homosexual lobby are both pushing slavery using the Orwellian concepts of “tolerance” and “inclusiveness.”

Immediately the left and the homosexual lobby went into high dudgeon. Arizona’s SB1062 must be defeated because Americans really are no longer free and must be forced to serve the great liberal state, regardless of their beliefs.

The storm rose against Arizona and Jan Brewer proved she was no Ronald Reagan. She has an honored place in the ranks of the French Republicans.

Kathy Perkins jokes about killing a black president. Judson Phillips has repeatedly hinted that President Obama is not an American citizen. People who have such open disdain for a black president shouldn't talk about how Obama is behaving like a King and enslaving people.

Political assassins like Booth and Oswald were not patriots. They had such disdain for government that they murdered presidents. Cliven Bundy has gotten into an armed standoff with the federal government. The tea party views him as a patriot. The tea party loves America so much that they want to see Bundy's followers spill the blood of people that are employed by the American government. That makes no logical sense.

Perkins, Bundy and Phillips aren't patriots. They are just very pissed off people.

Wingnut of the Day: Judson Phillips

Judson Phillips of Tea Party Nation has penned another comedy masterpiece. Gov. Jan Brewer vetoed SB 1062. Brewer came under immense pressure from the business community. The NFL moved the 1993 Super Bowl because of Arizona refusing to recogize Martin Luther King Day as a national holiday. The NFL was prepared to move the 2015 from Arizona if Brewer didn't veto SB 1062. An NFL source was quoted by Deadspin.

No one wants to do this, but if the league's hand is forced, it would have to begin preparing for that process,'' the source close to the situation said. "If this doesn't get vetoed, it has to know, what has to be done next? That discussion has begun.

"Two weeks ago no one would have been discussing who finished second in the 2014 Super Bowl bid process. So that's what changed. The NFL has to know the possibility, however remote, that it would have to move the game and begin preparations to do that. It would be imprudent not to begin that process.''

Brewer realized the NFL and many other businesses would stay clear from Arizona. Money is more important to the Republican establishment than social conservatives. That doesn't make Judson Phillips happy. He went off on Tea Party Nation. Mediaite has posted Phillips' post.

Should a devout baker be required to create a cake for a homosexual wedding that has a giant phallic symbol on it or should a baker be required to create pastries for a homosexual wedding in the shape of genitallia? (sp) Or should a photographer be required to photograph a homosexual wedding where the participants decide they want to be nude or engage in sexual behavior? Would they force a Jewish photographer to work a Klan or Nazi event? How about forcing a Muslim caterer to work a pork barbeque dinner?

Phillips apparently spends way too much time thinking about penises. How many gay couples are rushing to their local baker and asking, "Can you make me a cock cake?" What Nazi or member of the Klu Klux Klan would ask for a Jewish photographer? The problem is nonexistent. Judson is just mad because Arizona cannot legally discriminate against gays.

Don't believe Phillips is homophobic? Phillips accused President Barack Obama of being a gay crack addict.

A man named Larry Sinclair claims that in 1999 he and Barack Obama had sex and then smoked crack cocaine. This is 1999, nine years before Obama would run for President.

Crack cocaine is very addictive. It is very destructive. Addiction specialist will tell you that a crack addiction is very tough to break.

Is Obama an addict? Was he an addict in the past?

These are all legitimate questions to ask about a man who has his hands on the nuclear trigger.

Pjillips didn't bother to fact-check Sinclair because that wouldn't help his agenda. Politico reports Sinclair has a lengthy criminal record. Sinclair has forgery charges in two states. He has 13 aliases on his Colorado criminal record. Sinclair served a year of jail in Florida for theft and forging a bad check. It goes on and on.

Phillips is willing to cite someone as discredited as Sinclair to falsely gay bash President Obama. Phillips is a bigot. Plain and simple.

Judson Phillips Makes No Sense

Judson Phillips has been having a hissy fit about the shit storm surrounding the comments made by Duck Dynasty reality tv star Phil Robertson. I personally could care less what Phil Robertson has to say on any subject matter. Culture war matters are all Judson Phillips cares about. It is not like Phillips is going to write deep analysis of policy.

The Duck Dynasty controversy has made Phillips write the hysterical op-ed "Liberalism is Sin. As with all Tea Party Nation posts it makes absolutely no sense. Phillips starts with a thesis.

Liberalism is sin.

Most people have an immediate reaction to that statement. Either they support it or totally reject it based on the assumption it is a religious dissertation on liberalism.

It is not. Religion has almost nothing to do with it.

If religion has nothing to do with it, how is liberalism a sin?

Sin comes from the Greek and Hebrew translations of the Old Testament. The original meaning meant to miss the mark. A current meaning of sin is to defy God's will. Christian religion has everything to do with the word sin. Phillips claims that liberalism can be a sin and have nothing to do with religion. That simply does not make sense.

No matter, Phillips doesn't have the mental discipline to stay on his thesis.

Liberalism as a sin is simply willfully violating the laws of God, man and nature.

Liberalism being a sin has nothing to do with religion. That is why Phillips declares liberalism a violation of God's will. Thanks for clearing that up, Judson Phillips.

Judson Phillips Wants to Kill the #GOP

Judson Phillips of Tea Party Nation wrote an insane op-ed in The Washington Times. Phillips wants to kill off the Republican Party by having the Tea Party become its own official party.

In 2010, the Tea Party swept the Republicans into power in the House of Representatives.

What does the Tea Party have to show for it?

For the last two and a half years, the Tea Party has watched House Speaker John Boehner raise his freshly laundered white flag of surrender time and time again.

Phillips hysterically thinks that John Boehner's problem is compromising with President Barack Obama too much. Phillips fails to cite instances when Boehner waved the "white flag of surrender." My favorite part of the op-ed is Phillips making Boehner sound more liberal than Bernie Sanders.

The Republican leadership has not held the line on spending. They have capitulated repeatedly on the debt ceiling. They have surrendered on taxes. They have wanted to get along on Amnesty even though it is political suicide. They have given us meaningless, symbolic votes to repeal Obamacare, while making no real effort to do so. With barely disguised contempt for the base, they have ignored the calls to defund Obamacare.

As I have written before, the deficit has gone down under Obama. Republicans don't control the White House and the Senate. Yet, Phillips believes Republicans have the power to repeal Obamacare. Phillips is horribly misinformed.

As for Phillips brilliant plan to have an official Tea Party; that will fail as badly as the Green and Reform parties. An official Tea Party is more likely to split conservative votes and help Democrats get elected. An ABC News/Washington Post poll found people strongly against the tea party out number those that strongly support the tea party 2 to 1. Apparently, Phillips hasn't looked at polls showing tea party support tanking.

Tea Party Nation 'Whore' Attack on John McCain

Tea Party Nation founder Judson Phillips sent out a blog post by Cap Black the Hood Conservative titled "John McCain: Hero or Whore." Cap Black disagreed with McCain's attack on Rand Paul's filibuster. I questioned Sen McCain's judgement on the drone program. Cap Black goes over the line bycalling McCain a prostitute.

Another scenario, once accepted by many in the liberty movement; the Tea Party and the GOP, feels McCain cast himself as a political prostitute for Obama for unknown benefits.

Cap Black slut shames McCain with the conspiracy theory of "unknown benefits." Cap Black is also angry that McCain and other Republican senators had dinner with President Obama to discuss the sequester. How dare these Republicans commit the treasonous act of breaking bread with the President of the United States.

The tea party is destroying the Republican establishment. What is worse is Republicans can't compromise with a Democratic president for fear of angering the tea party. The results have been the debt ceiling crisis and the sequester. The madness has to stop for the sake of the country. Unfortunately, it may take a few election cycles to ween the GOP off of the tea party.

When Satire Becomes Reality

Dave Weigel's article on the Herman Cain tea party event reads like an Onion article. That is not the fault of Weigel's prose. The tea party activists are buffoonish.

Weigel points out the absurdity of a Republican presidential candidate driven out of the race by a sex scandal and still holding rallies. Imagine progressives flocking to hear John Edwards speak in 2012. It isn't going to happen. In defense of Cain supporters, they are really fucking stupid. Check out their cheer if you don't believe me.

Chris Burgdon, Cain's cowboy-hatted videographer, boards another one of the six chariots and tells its occupants to get revved up.

"Gimme a 9-9-9!"

9-9-9

"Now say, we're not stupid!"

We're not stupid!

If the biggest PR goal of your movement is proving that you are not stupid than chances are no one in your group is going to discover the cure for cancer anytime in the near future.

Then there is William Temple. He is to the tea party movement what overweight 40 year-old guys that dress in green spandex Riddler costumes are to Comic Con. Temple has several different militia outfits he wears to tea party events. This moment Temple had with Weigel is surreal.

A waiter walks by, cradling a tray of crabcakes, each approximately the size of a gummy eraser.

"Ah, yes," says Temple, affecting his revolutionary-era accent. (Think of an extra from the John Adams mini-series.) "I'll have a full regiment."

Yes, there was nothing that George Washington's troops loved more at Valley Forge than mini-sized crabcakes.

You will not be shocked to learn that there were many empty seats at Cain's Renaissance Hotel event. As lame as this movement is, former DNC chair Tim Kaine lost the midterm elections to the tea party and RNC chair Michael Steele. The tea party may be a joke. Kaine is a bigger joke.

Cliff Stearns: Birther

Rep. Cliff Stearns currently embroiled in a corruption scandal
. With Stearns facing so many problems, he has found the time to launch a potential investigation into President Barack Obama's citizenship.

“I am, shall we say, looking at all the evidence,” Stearns told reporters in the Capitol Tuesday, comments that come after he expressed similar doubts at a meeting with constituents in February.

Stearns has decided to join the birther movement. This list of fellow birthers includes Donald Trump, Judson Phillips, and the utterly bizarre Orly Taitz. Sterns has joined an all-star team of conspiracy theorists. The perfect reason for House Majority Leader Eric Cantor to give Sterns a vote of confidence.

"I think Cliff Stearns does a good job with the chairmanship of his subcommittee,” Cantor told The Hill in the Capitol Wednesday. “He has my full confidence.”

Well, that settles that.

Pollster Judson Phillips

Tea Party Nation founder Judson Phillips is the first blogger, I have seen, to write about President Barack Obama's poll numbers without citing the poll. I have no idea where Phillips got his numbers. Phillips mentions the Drudge Report in his post.

Right now, Obama loses the first question overwhelmingly. Only 25% of Americans strongly approve of the way Obama is handling his job while 44% strongly disapprove. That is a huge gap. Only 30% of Americans believe the nation is headed in the right direction.

President Obama's approval numbers have been going up in polls. The question is are we talking about Obama's approval rating on the economy or national security. A March 7, 2011 Gallup poll has Obama's approval rating at 45 percent. An NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll has Obama's approval at 50 percent.

Fifty percent of Americans approve of the president's job performance, his highest mark since the killing of Osama Bin Laden, while 45 percent disapprove. He leads former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney 50 percent to 44 in a hypothetical match-up, an improvement from December, when he was effectively tied with Romney.

The poll showed Obama's approval rating has now improved to 45 percent among white women, a key voting bloc. Those numbers could stem from the improving economy, which has helped Obama's ratings overall, or the controversies in the GOP primary, particularly the recent debate on contraception.

Again, what exactly is Phillips referencing when he writes about Obama's approval rating. Americans are generally dissatisfied with the economy. Obama's approval rating on economic matters has been less than stellar. When it comes to women, Obama's approval rating has increased. (Rush Limbaugh supporter, Mr. Phillips, fails to mention that.) An AP-GfK poll show 53 percent of women approve of the president.

I like to know where Phillips got only "25% of Americans strongly approve." I like to know the size of the poll sample and what polling firm conducted the poll. Was this poll done through automated calls or by interviewers? Anyone who knows how to read a poll can tell that Phillips is either bullshitting or doesn't understand polling data.

Wingnut of Day: Judson Phillips

Tea Party Nation founder Judson Phillips is found of conspiracy theories that have no basis in reality. Phillips contends that President Obama 2009 presidential campaign was funded by Hamas. From a Phillips post on Tea Party Nation web site.

The party of treason has never been shy about taking foreign cash, even though it’s illegal. In 2008, Obama even received campaign contributions from Gaza (I.e. Hamas). So where does a corrupt, unpopular President from the party of treason go for reelection cash? China, of course.

Phillips provides no proof. The wonderful thing about being a conspiracy theorist is that proof is never ended. When a conspiracy theorist like Phillips is challenged, he will demand that you prove that Obama did not receive campaign contributions from Hamas.

Phillips is a member of the birther movement that claim President Obama was not born in the United States.

After Obama released his long form birth certificate, Phillips wrote a post on how the American Bar Association should give Orly Taitz an award.

The American Bar Association frequently gives awards to lawyers who show a commitment to justice. Unfortunately, the ABA is about as far left as the Communist Party, so those who usually get those awards are lawyers committed to socialism, not freedom.

Orly Taitz has waged an almost one-woman war on the eligibility issue. She is absolutely convinced that Barack Obama is not legally qualified to be President. She had endured insults, threats, some from Judges, fines and every roadblock the Obama regime could throw her way. Had she been as tenacious on a similar issue with George W. Bush, she would be the toast of the legal community.

Orly probably does not want an ABA award, but she may be getting closer to something of great importance to her. It is the “holy grail” of the eligibility movement.

Taitz is one of the cartoonishly hysterical conservatives. There are several Youtube clips of Taitz going batshit insane on cable news programs. Taitz is the living version of a character in a Saturday Night Live sketch.

This is the woman that Phillips think should get an ABA award.

Phillips sent out an email for a post on his web site written written by anonymous Ayn Rand fan Jane Galt. This less than clear-headed blogger claims that Obama faked the assassination of Osama bin Laden.

This incident with Iran getting one of our top secret military drones, has been puzzling me since it happened. It's vaguely reminiscent of the alleged killing of Osama Bin Laden, with no evidence shown to the American people. ( Personally, I think he's been dead since around 2003, have seen no evidence otherwise, and think Obama staged the incident just so he could take credit. People prove they're alive by showing up, and he hadn't shown up in any way, in years. )

Phillips actually felt this post merited sending out to his readership. I am not shocked that Phillips is not acquainted with reality. What is sad is the Republican Party takes Phillips seriously.

Herman Cain's Libya Failure

Tea Party Nation founder Judson Phillips finally comes to the realization that Herman Cain is clueless. What gave it away.

Tonight there is a video from the Journal Sentinel online that show an interview with Herman Cain. Forget the sexual harassment allegations. Forget Mark Block’s gross incompetence. Herman Cain needs to leave the race because he is not qualified to be President.

Phillips cites an an example that Cain does not even have a basic understanding about Libya.

Candidates have something called briefing books. These are prepared by staffers and contain, among other things, topics candidates are expected to have at least a passing knowledge of. Cain may not be expected to know the name of the President of Montenegro or the Prime Minister of Moldavia, but Libya is a question that will obviously come up.

This video is what Phillips is referring to. Cain asks the intervierer if President Obama supporting the uprising and overthrowing Moammar Kadafi. The fact that Cain doesn't know this is embarrassing. Cain goes on to say that he would be more deliberate in assessing information than Obama. Somehow I seriously doubt that.

Cain states he would have learned more about the opposition than Obama. The interviewer asks Cain if Obama failed to assess the opposition. Cain says he doesn't know. This Republican field gives me more respect for the intelligence of George W. Bush everyday.

Quote of the Day

"I will tell you ladies and gentlemen, I detest and despise everything the left stands for. How anybody can endorse and embrace an ideology that has killed a billion people in the last century is beyond me."

Quote of the Day

"Now, Moody’s credit rating agency has come out and said neither the Republican nor the Democrat plans, if enacted, would do enough to save America’s AAA credit rating.

"If neither plan will save our credit rating, then to hell with both of them.

"Let the default happen."

Judson Phillips, founder of Tea Party Nation.

Phillips also adds that President Obama is "un-American." Phillips is a diehard birther. Chris Matthews took Phillips to task for his birther nonsense. Phillips couragiously backed away from his previous birther stance.

Tea Party Nation Urban Survival Course

Benjamin Kirby received a hysterical right-wing e-mail. Tea party activists want to halt the restoration of mosques in Muslim countries. Perhaps banning the restoration of Catholic churches in Italy was too ambitious a project.

I am on the Tea Party Nation e-mail list. The daily ramblings of Judson Phillips is better than reading The Onion. Phillips and business associates are huckstering people with an urban survival mini-course. This course will teach you how to survive the natural disasters, terrorist attacks, riots and the "out-of-control inflation like what Argentina, Zimbabwe, and the Weimar Republic experienced." Apparently, Robert Rubin is an instructor for the survival mini-course.

Can you say scam? I knew you could.

The text of the e-mail below the fold. Beware of misplaced capital leters in the text. What is it with conservatives and the caps key?

The Weird Worldview of Judson Phillips

Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

Judson Phillips falsely claimed that Jared Loughner is a "card carrying liberal." Another bizarre conspiracy theory from Phillips is that President Obama won because his campaign was funded by Hamas. Phillips suggested that Boehner should face the wrath of tea party activist if the Speaker raises the debt ceiling.

Phillips is lying on MSNBC when he says he would like to see the debt ceiling raised. Phillips gives away his true intention by twice dodging the question on if the debt ceiling should be raised. The third time Phillips says he does not believe the effect of not raising the debt ceiling would be bad. We are already seeing the futures markets and other countries panicking over the debt ceiling being unresolved.

Why question is why is MSNBC bringing a conspiracy theorist to talk about the debt ceiling?

Tea Party Turns on Mitch McConnell

The one thing you can say about Tea Party Nation founder Judson Phillips is his nastiness spares no one. Phillips attacks Senate Minority leader Mitch McConnell referring to him as a "eunuch." Phillips goes on to say that the people from McConnell's home state of Kentucky "is the butt of many jokes from surrounding states about inbreeding." Phillips takes exception to McConnell's proposal that would not require spending cuts. McConnell's plan would allow President Barack Obama to raise the debt ceiling three times in the next year and a half.

McConnell’s idea is simple. He fears the GOP will be blamed if there is no agreement on the debt ceiling and the GOP will pay a political price.

What is the word I am looking for here?

Oh yes, COWARD!

The one mistake that both Obama and Phillips made was expecting McConnell to be a leader. McConnell's proposal isn't fully fleshed out yet. Some news reports are that McConnell's plan would give Obama the authority to raise the debt ceiling. This is unconstitutional. The Constitution clearly states: The House of Representatives has the power of the purse. House bills then have to be approved by the Senate. Under the 14th amendment, the President must pay all debts. Congress must vote on whether or not the debt ceiling is raised.

McConnell will never please tea party activists like Phillips. The latter actually wants the United States to default.

This is one issue where there is a natural alliance. We in this movement, many of whom are Republicans, do not want the debt ceiling raised, and do not want to see Obama win or the GOP blamed for this. Why isn’t the GOP calling for our help? For one thing, we can message a whole lot better than they can. We can get the word out. We can motivate people, something the GOP cannot do.

The debt will go up because the Treasury Department would have to pay greater interest on loans after the federal government defaults. Phillips is either too ignorant to understand this or is an anarchist.

Conservative Madness On Debt Ceiling

Tea Party Nation leader and conspiracy theorist Judson Phillips wants House Speaker John Boehner replaced. Phillips reason is that Boehner will not let America default and raise the debt ceiling.

Almost three months ago, Tea Party Nation called on conservatives to primary John Boehner when he is up for reelection next year. If there is any doubt of the need to primary John “I want to surrender early and often” Boehner, he has just removed it.

At a private meeting on April 25th with Tea Party activists, Boehner was asked if the GOP would raise the debt ceiling, he said yes.

The federal government has never defaulted. It is hard to say what would happen. Wall Street does not want to find out. Any major financial institution that has lent money to the Treasury Department could lose its AAA rating. These banks could also lose their money.

Treasury Sec. Tim Geithner could keep funding the government by using Treasury bonds. It is unclear how long that will last. Geithner is already dipping into federal pension funds.

Foreign banks own over 40 percent of United States debt. What their reaction would be is not clear. Obviously, these banks want their money and the interest returned. Geithner wrote a letter to Congress outlining what will happen if the debt ceiling isn't raised.

* The Treasury would be forced to default on legal obligations of the United States, causing catastrophic damage to the economy, potentially much more harmful than the effects of the financial crisis of 2008 and 2009.

* A default would impose a substantial tax on all Americans. Because Treasuries represent the benchmark borrowing rate for all other sectors, default would raise all borrowing costs. Interest rates for state and local government, corporate and consumer borrowing, including home mortgage interest, would all rise sharply. Equity prices and home values would decline, reducing retirement savings and hurting the economic security of all Americans, leading to reductions in spending and investment, which would cause job losses and business failures on a significant scale.

* Default would have prolonged and far-reaching negative consequences on the safe-haven status of Treasuries and the dollar’s dominant role in the international financial system, causing further increases in interest rates and reducing the willingness of investors here and around the world to invest in the United States.

* Payments on a broad range of benefits and other U.S. obligations would be discontinued, limited, or adversely affected, including:

o U.S. military salaries and retirement benefits;
o Social Security and Medicare benefits;
o veterans’ benefits;
o federal civil service salaries and retirement benefits;
o individual and corporate tax refunds;
o unemployment benefits to states;
o defense vendor payments;
o interest and principal payments on Treasury bonds and other securities;
o student loan payments;
o Medicaid payments to states; and
o payments necessary to keep government facilities open.

Phillips and Republicans that are against raising the debt ceiling aren't fiscal conservatives. They are anarchists.

Quote of the Day

"This should not be a shock to anyone. Obama is a socialist who hates America. He wants to see America in economic collapse. Only if the economy is wrecked and America’s power destroyed can he and his socialist cronies replace the greatest economic system in the world with a failed system."

Judson Phillips, Tea Party Nation founder and conspiracy theorist.

Phillips actually believes Obama has a secret agenda to wreck the country, so Americans would be forced into socialism. I like to hear Phillips thoughts on President George W. Bush's Medicaid Advantage and economic policies. I would love to hear how Bush posting negative job gains during his entire administration was not leading us on the way to socialism. We have seen an increase of people collecting food stamps and unemployment because of Bush's failed policies.

I do not think Bush is a socialist. However, I can make a coherent that Bush is a socialist. Phillips' punditry has the sophistication of a 12-years-old child having a temper tantrum.

Conspiracy Theory Wingnuts Unite

Tea Party Nation founder Judson Phillips writes posts that read like fake op-eds from The Onion. Phillips ran with the conspiracy theory that President Barack Obama received campaign contributions from Hamas. Phillips got this conspiracy theory from racist blogger Pamela Geller. If anyone doubts Geller is a racist they should read her pushing the theory of white genocide in South Africa. This nonsense has been forwarded by former Klu Klux Klan member David Duke.

Geller:

"The white genocide is heating up in South Africa: South Africa race tension grows. The whites in South Africa are keenly aware of the plans to kill them, better known as 'The night of the long knives'. They expect it to happen very soon after the death of Mandela, but to tell this to the world is a waste of energy. Atlas has been reporting on this horror that the savages in the media ignore."

I have searched in the past for mainstream news articles of genocide of whites in South Africa. None exist. Google searches revealed only white supremist web sites and right-wing bloggers writing about this story. These racist web sites always claim genocide of whites is happening in South Africa without ever saying when and where these events taken place.

I get Tea Party Nation emails and Phillips spiels out bizarre conspiracy theories daily. Phillips sent out an email titled "Another Liberal Bites the Dust." I had to go to the Tea Party Nation to find out which radical liberal is no more. Hilarty ensues.

Jim Webb, the liberal Senator from Virginia has announced he is not seeking reelection. He said in a statement, that he "decided to return to the private sector." Translation, I have read the tea leaves for 2012 and my election will look like Custer's last stand.

That is the first time I have ever seen the words "Jim Webb" and "liberal" used in the same sentence. Webb served in the Reagan administration. Phillips has no idea what a liberal is.

The New Rhetoric From Tea Party Nation

John McCain wrote an op-ed in the Washington Post calling President Barack Obama "a patriot."

I disagree with many of the president's policies, but I believe he is a patriot sincerely intent on using his time in office to advance our country's cause. I reject accusations that his policies and beliefs make him unworthy to lead America or opposed to its founding ideals. And I reject accusations that Americans who vigorously oppose his policies are less intelligent, compassionate or just than those who support them.

McCain went on to praise Obama's speech at the memorial of the Tuscon, Arizona shooting. McCain agree with Obama's message that blame for Jared Loughner should not be cast on the Left or Right. This sent Judson Phillips of the Tea Party Nation into a shit fit.

"If Obama were simply incompetent, we might expect that he would occasionally get something right. What we see from Obama is not an incompetent fool. He knows exactly what he is doing. From being raised by a mother who hated America, to associating with America hating communists in his youth, he gravitated to communist, America hating professors in College and associated with America hating political groups until it looked like he might actually go somewhere in his political career.

"Obama is no patriot and neither is McCain. McCain’s supporters always point to the years he spent as a POW in Viet Nam. He did serve this country in ways most of us cannot imagine. But that does not give him a free pass for the rest of his life."

Phillips is attacking the President and a Vietnam POW. Yet Phillips somehow believes he is the true patriot. Apparently, Phillips didn't get the memo about the new tone. The more likely scenario is Phillips got the memo and tossed it in the trash bin.
