Folkfest in St. Petersburg

Creative Clay is a nonprofit group that helps the physically and mentally disabled. Creative Clay has a summer youth camp helps delivers health care to the poor. October 1, Folkfest will be held in St. Petersburg. Music, food and arts and crafts will on-hand.

Time - Saturday, October 1 at 10:00am - October 2 at 7:00pm

Location - Central Ave betwn 11th & 13th Streets N. in front of Creative Clay

Musicians include Railroad Earth, Martin Sexton, Patty Larkin, Catie Curtis, Lee Boys, Cope, Delta Rae, 3rd Stone, ...A Fragile Tomorrow, and Rebekah Pulley.

St Pete Homeless Update

The homeless situation in St. Petersburg is not front page news anymore. That doesn't mean there isn't much work needed to be done. Gatordem is someone working at a grassroots level to help provide solutions. He has a post on what many hard working people are doing to make a difference.

Grace-Ann Alfiero of Creative Clay is willing to increase services for mentally disabled homeless people. Creative Clay will need more funding to do that. That could be something the city and private citizens can do in a joint venture. It makes more sense than cutting tents.
