Rick Scott's Let's Get Laid Off Program

The Broward County School District announced that 1,400 teachers will get laid off. Broward County is attempting to portray the lay-offs as not being lay-offs. Merely that first and second year teachers are not getting their contracts renewed. These laid off teachers can look forward to having to pay for drug testing, in order to collect unemployment compensation.
