Heather Beaven Endorsed by the Sierra Club

Florida congressional candidate Heather Beaven has been endorsed by the Sierra Club.

As a Sierra Club endorsed candidate, I pledge to be a champion for pro-environmental policy and legislation in Congress. The stakes couldn’t be bigger in our district. My opponent John Mica is bought and sold by Special Interests, especially Big Oil (check out our Mica Oil Spill Map that spells out Mica’s affair with Big Oil). With the BP Gulf Oil Spill still on our minds, we can not allow Mica to return to Congress where he will lobby for more offshore drilling, less regulations, and more power to the Oil Lobby; just so he can stuff his campaign war chest.
