Arizona Republicans Sponsoring Homeless As Green Party Candidates

The New York Times ran an article on GOP operative Steve May has been recruiting homeless people to run as Green Party candidate. The Green Party is so dysfunctional that they can't field candidates for races. May knows it is easy to get these homeless people on the ballot. May is hoping some progressive Democrats will vote for the Green Party candidate (translation: May's homeless candidate) and take votes away from the Democrat on the ballot.

May freely admits to recruiting these candidates.

“Did I recruit candidates? Yes,” said Mr. May, who is himself a candidate for the State Legislature, on the Republican ticket. “Are they fake candidates? No way.”

Exploiting homeless people for political gain. Steve May is one poor excuse of a human being.
