Crist Confirms Senate Consideration

Roll Call reported Charlie Crist is considering running for the U.S. Senate. Crist told the Palm Beach Post he is considering running.

“When the session is over I’ve have a long discussion with my wife Carole and make a decision,” he said after meeting with sports industry officials at the mansion this morning.

Martinez's seat will allow Crist to run for president in 2116. Crist can not run if his second governor's term is as bad as his first. Approval ratings be damned. Running a state budget into the red doesn't look presidential.
