Florida Media Guide is a new site with links to hot florida news stories. The front page is much like the infamous Drudge Report. This is the latest is Florida-related news sites that are clearing houses for news stories. Other such sites such sites are Sayfie Review, Florida Politics and Fort Report. All sites are run by current or former political operatives. What is it that makes pol ops run news aggregators?

These sites are extremely useful for bloggers. I use Talking Points Memo, Daily Dish, and Political Wire for national news. Josh and Andrew have staffers which help them keep the site updated. I remember them blogging like they were on crack when it was just them. How they haven't gotten burned out is amazing. Atrios and Glenn Reynolds have been phoning it in for years.
