Matt Drudge blames the victims. Not Mark Foley.
And if anything, these kids are less innocent — these 16 and 17 year-old beasts…and I've seen what they're doing on YouTube and I've seen what they're doing all over the internet — oh yeah — you just have to tune into any part of their pop culture. You're not going to tell me these are innocent babies. Have you read the transcripts that ABC posted going into the weekend of these instant messages, back and forth? The kids are egging the Congressman on! The kids are trying to get this out of him. We haven't got the whole story on this.
That is the old she deserved to be raped defense. That quotes says a lot more about Drudge than the kids. I would say it's hard to believe he's on the defensive side of a sex scandal. Accept it's not. Partisan politics count more than the kids.

The idea of a grown man going out of his way to pursue young boys via email is totally pathetic!!!!! What adult in thier right mind would want to sit up and email teenagers? Does this not seem a little strange? These "children" are not even on the same level that an adult is; therefore, who would even be interested in engaging in online conversations with them? Some people may feel like these young boys are guilty. This is fine and everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I personally am not interested in YouTube or My Space (or any of the other "kiddie" sites that are intended for teens and not sick adults who prey on these teens). There is very little that a 16 or 17 year old can get out of me. I am an adult and since I don't have an interest in kids - they typically don't "egg" me on.
Using the "sexual abuse as a child" thingy is so old. You would think that someone on his educational level would pick a better one than this!!!!! If you've been hurt or abused as a child - does it make much more sense to hurt other children or to prey on them? Why would you even want to inflict such pain on another child? Why? Because he is a heartless, sick and pathetic adult. One who has gotten away with his filthy lifestyle long enough. Whether he engaged in sex with these young boys or not - the fact remains that he went out of his way to engage in online, inappropriate conversations with these boys. Maybe this was deemed as appropriate to Mr. Foley. Just as long as he wasn't having physical contact with them. This guy is SICK!!!!!!!!
