These are several different radio performances of Chan Marshall (aka Cat Power.) The first two songs are originals and the rest are covers. If you listen closely, you can hear Chan crying during He Was A Friend of Mine. She is well-known for emotional breakdowns during performances. Some people can't stand it. I think it makes her performances more powerful.
