Mitt Romney's November Surprise

Brendan Farrington reports that Mitt Romney is pulling out the big guns to win Florida.

Gov. Scott says he'll campaign with Mitt Romney In Florida Monday. Tentatively in Orlando area

I read that and started laughing. Rick Scott is the last person Mitt Romney wants to be seen with in Florida. The Romney campaign has taken pains to distance itself from Scott.

Rick Scott is very careful about what he says to the media. If Scott was talking about his commitment to education, I would treat his words with skepticism. I see no real benefit from Scott being disingenuous about campaigning with Romney. We will find out on Monday.
