Mitt's Excellent Adventure to WaWa

During the 1992 presidential campaign, President George a H.W. Bush was amazed by a supermarket scanner. Technology that only surprises people whom do not do their own shopping. Mitt Romney praised the sandwich-maker machine at " WaWas." Anyone who grew up in the Northeast does not call WaWa "WaWas." Furthermore, most people in the Northeast are smart enough not to eat food from WaWa. My memory of WaWa is of those convenience stores being real nasty. Which makes it hysterical that Romney would try to convince a crowd of the awesomeness of WaWa.

"Where do you get your hoagies here? Do you get them at Wawas? Is that where you get them?" Romney asked.

"NOOO!" several members of the audience shouted in response.

Romney grinned. "No? You get them at Sheetz?" he said.

When the audience replied in t.he negative again, Romney seemed surprised. "No?" he said. "Where do you get them?"

Even more hysterical is Romney cites the WaWa sandwich maker as the type of technological innovation America should persue. To hell with clean energy, Romney wants America to lead to world in making shitty sandwiches.
