Kendrick Meek Zombie Watch: CNN Poll

CNN has released a new poll on the Florida Senate race. Marco Rubio is solidifying his lead against opponents Charle Crist and Kendrick Meek. Rubio is polling at 42 perecent with likely voters.


Rubio - 42 percent
Crist - 31 percent
Meek - 23 percent

Among like voters Rubio is polling at 44 percent with men, 40 percent with women and 45 percent with whites. Rubio's Hispanic background hasn't hurt him crossing over to white voters. The same can't be said for Meek. The Congressman whose claim to claim is winning his congressional seat without ever having to face a Democratic or Republican opponent is polling at 16 percent with whites. The CNN poll does not have numbers for non-whites.

Crist is polling better among men and women than Meek, but not as well as Rubio. Kos summed up the race.

It's an all-around mishmash of suck. Rubio is gaining. Crist is plummeting, and Meek is rising all the way up to ... a less embarrassing third place finish. There's absolutely zero there to get excited about.

Count me as one of the unexcited.
