Quote of the Day

"His feelings of betrayal personify a slave master mentality. He sees LeBron as a runaway slave. This is an owner employee relationship -- between business partners -- and LeBron honored his contract."

Rev. Jesse Jackson, on Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert's comments on superstar Lebron James signing with the Miami Heat.

Progressive blogger Oliver Willis made this comment on his Twitter account.

jesse jackson called lebron a slave? please, shut up.

Jackson continues down his path of irrelevance. James is going to be paid an insane amount of money. For Jackson to make a comparison to the NBA's free market agency to slavery is pure hyperbole. Jackson's ego needs attention. Unfortunately, the last time Jackson made news was when he was forced to admit to having a love child. Mad TV did a hysterical parody of the Jackson baby daddy drama.
