Happy Pride Day

Today marks the aniversary of the Stonewall Riots.

The White House is starting to understand the gay community is angry about the foot dragging on "Don't Ask Don't Tell" and other related issues. The Republican Party's efforts to use homosexuality as a wedge issue has caused people to become more aware and accepting of gay marriage.

“The diminution of the homophobia has been as important a phenomena as anything we’ve seen in the last 15 years,” said Representative Barney Frank, Democrat of Massachusetts, who is gay.

The Services and Advocacy for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Elders hosted a panel of gay activists that became active after the Stonewall Riots and the Christopher Street Gay Liberation Day March.
