Florida Poll Numbers Show Obama Ahead of McCain
John McCain campaign advisor Greg Strimple held a conference call. Strimple told the media the Obama campaign is "desperate" in Florida. This statement is silly for many reasons. RPoF Chairman Jim Greer held a meeting to calm conservative activists that are unhappy with the McCain campaign. Strimple said the bailout and heavy advertising spending is hurting Obama. The financial crisis gave Obama a boost in national polls. The Florida polling numbers deflate Strimple's spin.

Conservative activists are angry at the McCain campaign. Poll numbers show McCain behind. Strimple has an interesting definition of desperate. Perhaps Strimple thinks the LA Clippers are a good basketball franchise.
