Crist Shifts Party Away From Bush Policies
I wonder which party Charlie Crist was pitching his State of the State speech.
Including unexpected echoes of liberal icon Robert F. Kennedy and former Vice President Al Gore, Gov. Charlie Crist's first State of the State speech had Democrats cheering, Republicans applauding politely and black legislators engaging in call-and-response chants with the new governor.
Peer Review isn't happy. I have no disillusions that Crist is secretly a Democrat. The Governor is politically astute enough to realize America is pulling away from Bush conservatism. That doesn't mean I don't enjoy the crying from the National Review/Weekly Standard conservatives.
