Tom Tancredo: Still A Nut

Put this in the you-got-to-be-fucking-kidding-me department - Tom Tancredo is a possible presidential candidate. When I first read that I thought the Miami Herald was playing an early April Fool's Day joke.

In case you don't know who Tom Tancredo is; he made Rolling Stone's list for ten worst members of Congress. Rolling Stone noted that Tancredo is supported by the white supremist Council for Conservative Citizens.

"He's got the best track record in Congress," said Gordon Baum, head of the Council for Conservative Citizens.

Not exactly a ringing endorsement.

Tancredo made news recently for say that Miami "has become a third world country." Tancredo equates brown skinned Americans to a third world country.

"What a nut," Jeb Bush told reporters when asked about Tancredo.

Nutty enough to play racial tensions in order to get to the White House. Nixon would be so proud.
