Raise the Minimum Wage

John Edwards has a petition urging the Senate to raise the minimun wage with no unnecessary wording to the bill.

I’m asking my Senators to act swiftly to raise the federal minimum wage, and resist attempts by special interests to attach more corporate giveaways or other “poison pill” amendments. After 10 long years, the American people deserve a raise – no strings attached.
