Katherine Harris Forbidden From Stage Appearance With Bush

The source of this is Joe Scarborough. He has a grudge against Katherine Harris. The latter told supporters that Scarborough may have killed his intern. That's a good reason for Scarborough not to like her.

Naked Politics reports that George W. Bush's staff told Harris that she could not appear on stage with him during a Pensacola campain rally. The funniest thing is that Harris was the only Republican candidate, in a state race, who would appear with Bush.

When Harris insisted on appearing on stage with Bush, organizers said no. "If she didn't like it, she didn't have to come," Scarborough said in quoting a source familiar with the back-and-forth.

The Pensacola rally represents everything that went wrong for Dubya and Harris this year. The fact that other Republicans avoided Bush and Harris pleaded to be onstage with the President says much. This was Bush's final campaign stop for 2006. Yikes!
