Awake Tampa

The Awake Tampa rally will be held downtown tomorrow. The rally is to mark the one-year anniversary of Rick Scott's election to office.

The ACLU will give protesters legal advise. This is good considering many Occupy Tampa protesters will likely attend the rally. The bad news is Alex Sink will be the keynote speaker. Sink spent her career as a banker. I doubt she has little of value to say to the Occupy crowd. The fact that Sink would hold her nose and speak at such an event means she is running for governor in 2014. I have started the Stop Alex Sink campaign to make sure Sink never runs for statewide office again. If Sink is the Democratic nominee then expect Scott to win a second term.
