Charlie Crist Raising Money For a Democrat

Former Gov. Charlie Crist will attend a fundraiser and help raise money for Democrat Jackie Pons' re-election campaign to the Leon County School Superintendent post. There really shouldn't be much doubt where Crist's political loyalties are these days.

There has been much political chatter about Crist running for governor in 2014 as a Democrat. Raising money for Democratic candidates is a way for Crist to gain political capital within the Florida Democratic establishment. I'm not against Crist running against Rick Scott in 2014. I will take that over Alex Sink being a Democratic nominee and Scott winding up with four more years. Sink will run again. Don't doubt it for a second.
