Media v. Rick Scott

I wrote that Rick "Scott is going to piss the media off and earn himself bad press." It turns out it didn't take that long. Politico reports on Scott's feud with the Tallahassee press corp.

Scott attempted to pick a pool reporter to cover a dinner Scott was having with Republican legislators. The Tallahassee press corp was outraged. They were not about to give Scott control over what reporter would cover him. Scott eventually decided to go around the press corp and choose the conservative Sunshine State News to cover the event.

Conservatives are cheering Scott's slap to the media. What these wigers don't realize is when Scott doesn't deliver jobs the Tallahassee press corp is going to grind the point home. Every negative story will be looked at harder. When Scott's staffers ask the media to sit on a story, reporters will remember the lack of cooperation they received from Team Scott.

Scott doesn't want to talk to the media because he is an insecure man and cannot function without talking points. Scott is so dim he actually thinks he can control the media. Is he in for a surprise.
