Rick Scott Shocked Obama Didn't Call

Rick Scott ran the most intensely negative and factually incorrect campaign attacks I have seen in Florida. Scott bizarrely said that Alex Sink would cut Medicare if she become governor. It didn't matter to Scott that Florida's executive branch does not have the power to cut the federal Medicare program. Scott accused the anti-abortion Bill McCollum of being pro-choice and pro-gay rights. Scott seemed willing to say anything in order to get elected.

Scott wasn't kinder to Obama. Scott ran an ad titled "Obama's Mosque." Never mind that Obama isn't personally involved with Park 51 or that there is no actual mosque in the facility. A mosque can only be used for religious worship. The Park 51 facility will have a cooking school and basketball court. There will be a prayer room there. Which is different then a mosque. Scott bragged about not knowing all the counties in Florida. Details and facts aren't his thing.

Let's relive the piece of shit ad.

Other facts that Scott neither doesn't know or care about. Park 51 is in Park Place is not actually on Ground Zero. Park 51 is represented as the letter B. As you can see, Park 51 is visually obstructed from Ground Zero.

Scott was shocked that Obama did not give him a call.

Campaigning for governor, Rick Scott wasn’t particularly courteous when talking about President Barack Obama, whose policies he slammed on the campaign trail. But somehow the incoming governor was surprised this week to be left waiting for a courtesy call from Obama that never came: a heads-up about a ban on new drilling in the Gulf of Mexico.

Bill McCollum made no secret about his contempt for Scott. Obama is known for bending over backwards for Republicans. Being accused of being a terrorist sympathizer by Scott crossed Obama's temper threshold.
