Wingnut Alert: Dove World Outreach Center

Terry Jones is the author of Pastor Jones book "Islam is the Devil." Jones is the Pastor of the Gainesville, Florida church the Dove World Outreach Center. The church is having the upcoming International Burn a Koran Day and No Homo Mayor Protest against Mayor Craig Lowe.

Dove World Outreach Center blogger Fran Ingram declares she knows all about homosexuals and Muslims.

Free speech is hated by homosexuals and they do not like to hear the truth about their perverted lifestyle. We are protesting our openly homosexual Mayor Aug 2. Maybe they did it, (not the Mayor himself, surely) but the more likely trigger for this attack is the burn a Koran Day plan.

Free speech is not Sharia compliant, and the Moslem Mafia (CAIR) is openly opposed to our signs and message. But this is America and we have the law on our side. The police defend us and our rights, the Fire Department have no problem with our having a bonfire on 9/11, and we will not be silenced.

Ingram claims homosexuals and Muslims hate free speech. Her response is to ban the Koran and homosexuals. True champions of free speech support the offensive speech of porn filmmakers and white supremists. America is a country where even the most vicious forms of expression are supported under the Constitution. I support the Dove World Outreach Center's right to protest. Unfortunately, the church doesn't support the freedom of religion of Muslims or civil rights of gay people.

It seems the christian church has its own Taliban .Holding a public burning of the Koran must be the most thoughtless act for a religious organization to have dreamed up.Reminds me of stones and glass houses .Self rightous nonsense .Pray for guidance and reconsider . Jock in Canada

I agree. As someone who is agnostic, the actions of the DWOC smack of religious intolerance.
