Scott Maddox Dance Party
One of the most hysterically bad ideas in ages. A Florida Democratic Party dance video. The famous JK Wedding Entrance Dance video worked because it was original and a celebration of a love and friendship. The FDP video is a celebration of... Scott Maddox. I almost expect Will Ferrell, as Janet Reno to make an appearance. No one wants to get funky with Scott Maddox.
Advice to Florida Democratic Party: next time someone suggests making a dance video proceed to throw that person out of the room.

Okay, sure, it was a little cheesy, especially at the end ... but I'm supposed to be the old, beaten-down, cynical one here in the Florida lefty blogosphere. Don't steal my shtick. ;)
(I thought it was kinda cute, actually ... maybe I'll actually swing by the dance party after all. :) )
For the record, this video was thought up by members of the Maddox campaign team as a fun way to get coverage for the campaign's Dance Party at the FDP Conference this week. The video was NOT produced by the FDP, no way, no how.
Many delegates requested a dance party Friday night and the Maddox campaign is delieving on that request.
It is a great video that shows Scott Maddox is ready to change Florida for the better in 2010 as a member of the Florida Cabinet once elected.

And the FDP didn't have anything to do with it- I don't know where you got their connection to it. It was SUPPOSED to be silly, it was SUPPOSED to be lame. So your comment only confirms that it met the intended goal.

The connection is it is a promotional video for a FLorida Democratic Party dance. Your defense is it was suppose to be lame. How about the Maddox campaign/FDP make a good promotional video.
