Robert Reich Stumps For the Public Option

Robert Reich clearly states what the public option is and intended to do. Reich proceeds to tell citizens how they can get involved. Reich is able to do all this in a short video. How come Obama can't come out as strongly for the public option.

My personal take is Obama never truly supported the public option. The netroots needs to place pressure on the President. Roll Call reports Obama has caved and will not support the public option in the health care bill.

“It sounded like he was trying to figure out how he could get something he could call a public option, regardless of what it is,” one staffer familiar with the call said.

Obama is conceding to Olympia Snowe at the expense of the Progressive Caucus.
