Obama tells kids hard work and not fearing failure is what makes people like Michael Jordan great. True success is having rich parents and (mob) family connections. Ask Megan McArdle.

Just like the Armageddon that would befall us in the year 2000, the speech that was suppose to indoctrinate our youth. Now who was spreading the baseless lies…..hmm…..oh ya, “Fake News”. Is anyone real surprised? Too funny.
What the President really needs to do is hire speech writers who don't use Wikipedia as a fact-checker.
Michael Jordan was NEVER cut from his high school basketball team. It's a myth. Always has been.

Good fact-checking JimmyV. I believed the Jordan myth awhile until I later found out the truth. Spreadi ng socialism is one thing. Saying the greatest basketball player got cut is sacrilegious.
