Glenn Beck Busted Lying on The View
Glenn Beck is forced to admit he lied on his radio show about an encounter he had with Barbara Walters and Whoopi Goldberg on Amtrack. Walters asked Beck if he ever fact-checks before he makes commentary. Beck took pains to avoid answering his questions. Beck becomes surprisingly defensive when Walters asks him about crying.
Beck's appearance on The View was a disaster. I would be surprised if Beck agrees to another appearance. Then again, Beck loves self-promotion.

Barbara and Whoppi are guilty of their own accusations. If you listen to the clip again you will see that Glenn never once mentioned who approached who..he states “and the train took off and Barbara said”. So not only does it appear that in fact Whoppi and Barbara are lying but they turn around and accuse him of not checking facts. WHAT? They even played the clip on the show! People were so engrossed by the beating, that they didn’t even catch the fact that it was Whoppi and Barbara getting caught in a lie.
Then Barbara asks him the same question over and over, he did answer it, when they actually let him talk for a second, and then she accused him of not answering the question. Does she have a brain tumor, or is she really that rude. They were so caught up in their nastiness, they refused to hear him. What a joke!
Turns out he didn't lie, but they did. Oops.
