It's About Policy

Like many Republicans, George W. Bush believes conservative policies work. The problem is the message.

"We shouldn't change our philosophy," Bush said. "We may want to change our messaging. We definitely want to change the messengers."

A recession, erosion of environmental protection, a deficit, and a neoconservative foreign policy. Republicans can change the messangers. The policy still sucks.

My prediction is the GOP will keep running on guns, abortion and gay marriage. Republicans aren't going to get elected on John McCain's platform of less jobs and more wars.
