Where's Joe?

John McCain introduces Joe "Samuel Wurzelbacher" the Plumber. One problem. Joe the Plumber is nowhere to be found. What a mess of a campaign.

Anderson Cooper reports that Joe the Plumber likely stood the McCain campaign up.

McCain aides called it a “miscommunication,” but once I got on the bus I called Wurzelbacher myself and asked him what really happened.

He told me that he had hoped to come to the morning rally, but that no one from McCain’s campaign ever called him back to confirm,

Bigger ooops.

You are either going to be at a campaign rally or not. "Hoped" isn't a plan.
