NO ON PROP 8
As a Christian, I voted "Yes" on prop 8, however, in an effort to solve this protest situation between the religious and non religious folks, perhaps another California proposition on the issue of marriage for homosexuals can be rewritten soon. A marriage, in general, is not necessarily a "Christian Marriage" (or a Mormon Marriage, Catholic Marriage, Jewish, Islamic Marriage, etc.). A "Christian Marriage" falls under the realm of Christian beliefs and practices, as would a Catholic, Mormon, Jewish, or Islamic marriage that follow the Bible, Book of Mormon, Torah, or the Qur'an. Therefore, homosexuals should be allowed to have civil marriages as long as they are not held in Christian, Catholic, Jewish, Mormon or Islamic churches that uphold and define marriage as between a man and a woman. Is that a fair compromise?
Prop. 8 is wrong!!
its wrong to eliminate people of their rights!
NO ON PROP. 8!!!!!!!
