An ACORN For McCain

The doom and gloom John McCain ad blaming ACORN for the bailout. Barack Obama worked for ACORN in the nineties. Therefore, Obama must be responsible for the mortgage crisis. The attack doesn't pack much punch because few voters know or give a shit about ACORN. To make matters worse, McCain was the keynote speaker for a 2006 ACORN event.

The beleaguered Democratic-leaning community group Acorn sends over this photograph: John McCain, in March of 2006, sitting beside Florida Rep. Kendrick Meek at an event Acorn co-sponsored in Florida.

The immigration event, which other photos show was packed with red-shirted Acorn member, was co-sponsored by the local Catholic Archdiocese, the SEIU, and other groups.

McCain, still spiting much of his party on immigration at the time, was the headliner.

McCain has had horrible luck of attack ads backfiring on him. Campaign manager Rick Davis's lobbying with Freddie Mac, Paris Hilton publicly dissing McCain and now attempting to stop the racist chant at his own rallies.

This post gives me an excuse to post by insane conservative viral blogger Atlas Shrugs. Disappointingly, she is fairly sober in this video. Miss Conservative Party Girl implies that Obama wasn't born in America. Miss Shrugs answers the question how much ecstasy must be taken to believe Obama conspiracy theories. Over to you, Tas.
