John McCain In Panama City

Moments like this make John McCain look old and out of touch. McCain stumbles through a press conference in Panama City, Florida. By the Maverick's side is wife Cindy and Charlie "I will not be Vice-President" Crist. Republicans should really worry about how McCain will fare against Obama, in the debates.

Not sure where you are coming from with his one...as I recall Jr. lost all of his debates except for a couple where he "broke even", for both election cycles...elections were still close enough for the cons to "squeak/tweak" him in...

But I do agree with you McCain is looking worse by the day..I really think it is all a strain on the man. His latest pathetic videos are also very telling of a campaign in a sort of crisis...but the msm has his back, not to worry.

I'm convinced Kerry would have received less votes, if it wasn't for his strong showing in the debates. The debates were the only thing that Kerry did right. The rest of the campaign and Swiftboating killed his chances.

I agree with your assessment of Kerry's debate showing, so in that sense, the debates do have teeth, at least concerning democrats. Nevertheless, I stick to my observation, in that republicans merely need to show up, complete a sentence concerning some train of thought (the complete thought thing was a toughie for jr) crack a few jokes and repeat whatever the latest talking point mantra's of the moment were that the right had already pumped into the media (a Reagan legacy). Call me cynical, but that is how it seems to go these days. I am certain McCain will get the same treatment as Bush, because even if you can't roll up your sleeves to cut brush and share a beer with him, he does throw a mean barbecue...
