Congratulations to Jill Filipovic for becoming one a the bloggers on Alternet's Reproductive Justice and Gender. Amanda Marcotte and Melissa McEwan are also contributors. The content so far is material Jill, Amanda and Shakes have written elsewhere. Hopefully, there will be original content. The site is worth bookmarking.

Melissa has a great post on the fallacy of male post-abortion syndrome. Chris Aubert tells the Los Angeles Times he regrets letting his girlfriend have an abortion. Which doesn't quite explain why he played softball when his girlfriend asked him to attend the abortion. Aubert was asked how his girlfriend would feel if he prevented her from having an abortion.

Aubert looks startled. "I never really thought about it for the woman," he says slowly.

That sums up what is wrong with many in the anti-abortion movement.
