Heroes Open Thread

I have become addicted to Heroes and hate television and sci-fi/fantasy. This show is just so well-conceived, acted and written.

Thoughts on the finale: Sylar is a much more interesting character with his powers gone. It was interesting to see Sylar in all his manipulative glory.

Why did the Company save Sylar just to inject him with the Shanti virus? It seems like a lame excuse to bring back a character that was suppose to have died at the end of Season 1.

Mohinder Suresh is becoming the most stupid character on television. He stays in the apartment Sylar almost killed him and Peter Petrelli in Season 1. He gives Sylar the cure knowing that he will kill him and Molly aftet they outlived their usefullness.

I wasn't surprised that Nathan and Niki got killed. Their stories have run their course. Seeing a super-powerless Niki whoop ass was fun. The question is who is Nathan's killer? His mother obviously was involved in his assassination. Horn-Rimmed Glasses seems to obvious.

Was anyone rooting for Mr. Muggles or Micah's annoying cousin to be killed off? Get. rid. of. annoying. cousin. now.

I thought killing Peter off would have been a big surprise and made Sylar more scary. The creators want another Sylar/Peter showdown.

What are your thoughts? Comment away.

I, too, have to admit the show has sucked me in. And this from a person who doesn't have a TV. Interesting points in your post ... One thing I noticed with the season "finale" was a definite hurrying of the storyline -- I think because of the writers' strike -- and that is unfortunate. I saw some obvious rough spots in the story. Hopefully, they'll give us a full season next time.
