The Fire of Fred Thompson
The Fred Thompson momentum is fading. The CNN poll. He went from 27 percent to 19 percent. He is just barely ahead of John McCain. Another candidate that is going nowhere.
Rudy Giuliani - 27 percent
Fred Thompson - 19 percent
John McCain - 17 percent
Mitt Romney - 13 percent
Mike Huckabee - 5 percent
Duncan Hunter - 3 percent
Ron Paul 2 percent
Thompson is reduced to telling people to applaud for him.
