No Democrat Straw Poll For Florida

Democrats have decided not to have a Presidential straw poll. I say good. These polls are meaningless and are a distraction for the candidates. Let us not forget Katherine Harris's momentous victory over Bill Nelson in the Lakeland Bi-Annual in the Park straw poll. The funniest thing is how many Freepers took the straw poll as proof Harris would win.

I love how everybody is counting her out but I think the MSM and everybody will be in for a bit of a shock on election night. I still say the GOP holds even or could pick up a seat or two after all is said and done in the House & Senate.

Election day didn't work quite that way for the GOP or Harris. When Freepers see bad Republican polling numbers they blame the media for liberal bias. When Republican lose election Freepers claim the media was giving the Democrats their support through liberal bias. There are also Chicago Cubs' fans that think trading Greg Maddox to the Braves was a good idea.

All straw polls do is make insiders in both parties feel important. They do not win elections for candidates.
