I have never forgiven him for caving to the Catholic Opus Dei crowd re the Pandagon bloggers earlier this year. Every time I asked them about it on his website I got evasive form letters and other obfuscation. Edwards is -- like all of the other candidates left & right -- not of the people but of himself, and for himself exclusively. We're living in a world where Jimmy Carter backtracks on his bold statements and John McCain destroys all semblance of his former cred to kiss up to the theocratic right. At least Hilary is not so full of shit -- she's more of a man than any of her competitors.
