Karen Thurman chair of the Florida Democratic Party has a post on recent achievements. The post also touches on the hiring of Leonard Joseph as Executive Director. The hiring made news because Joseph came into America as a Haitian immigrant. He has worked his way up to one of the most power Democratic posts in the Sunshine State. That is a different message than what the conservative base is sending Mel Martinez.

What interested me is that the post reports that Joseph is currently in Washington. Which makes sense since Joseph will be responsible to GOTV.
