More Voting Problems

It didn't take long for voting problems to occur.

* Identification - there’s confusion about acceptable forms of ID and in some places whether ID is even required at all;
* Machines - people are having trouble both with electronic touchscreen machines and with the scanners on the optical scanner equipment.

The Buzz post only listed a few states. I have a feeling this is going on all over the country. The problem is people don't want to admit there's a problem. Election official keep saying everything will be okay. It's like listening to an alcoholic saying he quit drinking after that last beer. We keep hearing that there will be no voting problems and then treated like it's our fault when there are problems. This blame the victim crap is getting rather old.

The Buzz reports the Electronic Frontier Foundation might sue a to keep a Deerfield precinct.

The foundation says problems with turning on the electronic touchscreen machines kept the precinct from opening on time. More as updates become available.

I'm emailing EFF to find out more.
