I Heart Peer Review

Comedy post of the day. Courtesy of Peer Review.

Let me say that IF the dems pull out a huge victory and are in control after the elections, I will not whine and bitch every time a dem blinks. I may not agree with the dem platform but if the majority chooses dem, then I start to work on the next election to try and turn things around. I do not, however, try to destroy the country by second guessing everything OUR elected officials do. That's childish and ignorant.

I agree with Mr. H about Jim Davis's prospects. H proves himself an economic illiterate. A record deficit, a first Bush term with the worst job creation rate in recent history and soaring gas prices do not make voters happy. Bush hasn't supplied a tax cut. Just a tax shift. He has put the burden on the states and future administrations. Republican states have passed the tax buck on to counties. That's why property taxes in Florida are so insane. It's not the MSM's fault that Republicans haven't raised minimum wage. It's because these people don't care. That's not whining. That's fact. Republicans had six years to do it.

What H's post really is about is the Republican control is over and it drives him bonkers. And I certainly think conservative bloggers did more than their share to show America how far out of the mainstream the GOP really is. Thank you, Peer Review. Our party has been so bad at winning elections. If it wasn't for people like Charles Johnson, Michelle Malkin and Glenn Reynolds; people would have never realized how fucking nuts the GOP really is. Florida Democrats owe Peer Review an eternal debt of gratitude.
