Richard Ben-Veniste On ABC 9-11 Movie

Richard Ben-Veniste points out inaccuracies in the ABC docudrama Path to 9/11. I know lefty bloggers are going nuts on this. I'm wondering if people are actually going to take time out of their lives to watch the whole series.

Update: Mustang Bobby has a great remark.

I have no doubt that the people who see this film will not, to a person, suddenly become convinced that all the documentation that exists that shows that the Clinton administration took the threat of terrorism seriously and tried within the law to capture bin Laden is all fiction and this film really tells the truth; you can't change history in the real world by changing it on the screen. I have a bit more faith in the American electorate than that. Besides, if the average American sees this film and swallows it hook, line, and sinker, then we're in a lot more trouble with the intellectual capacity of this nation, and perhaps the V-chip isn't such a bad idea after all.

I doubt the writing for Path to 9/11 will be as sharp as Bobby's wicked V-chip quip.

The whole series is a sad commentary on the road to our own destruction..... more lies, fabrications, and bullshit.

I don't know about "road to our own destruction." I haven't seen it. I think people who condem movies before they come out help the entertainment industry commercially. The controversies surrounding Passion of the Christ and Farenheit 911 helped those films.
