Mickey Mouse Does Not Like Alex Villalobos

Disney has had a friendly relationship with Jeb Bush. Alex Villalobos has not had such a chummy relationship with Jeb. Villalobos voted against Bush on class-size and vouchers. Jeb endorsed Villalobos's opponent Frank Bolaños. Villalobos beat Bolaños. Turns out Disney was a major player in all this.

Updated state records show that Disney Worldwide Services recently contributed $25,000 to a political group that paid for TV ads attacking Villalobos, the Miami Republican who barely survived a nasty primary against a Jeb Bush-backed challenger. Disney gave the money to the sunny-sounding "Partnership for Florida's Future" on Aug. 31, according to the records -- just six days before the Sept. 5 election.
