Crazy
Tom Feeney once suggested that Florida should secede from the Union if the if the nation debt grew too large. Feeney attempted to have the teaching of yoga banned in Florida public schools. Feeney lists 2308 at 8600 Ridgewood Avenue in Cape Canaveral, Florida as a home he bought. The property actually belongs to Feeney campaign contributer James A. Fowler.
Feeney recently called his general election opponent Clint Curtis the "craziest man in America."
This from a man that wanted Florida to secede from the union.
This from a man labeled by Citizens For Responsibility and Ethics in Washington as one of the 13 most corrupt members of Congress.
This from a man who received money and a paid trip to Scotland by convicted lobbyist Jack Abramoff.
This from a man who hired a Hooters waitress, Bridgette A. Gregory, with no college degree, to be his Florida House aide.
This is Feeney's press release after Feeney won the primary.
Craziest Man in America
Crazy Clint Curtis Creeps toward Congress
(Oviedo, FL) - U.S. Representative Tom Feeney celebrated the results of the 24th District Democratic primary tonight from his campaign headquarters. He was joined by fellow supporters who basked in the news that Clint Curtis was the nominee for the 24th District.
“Clint Curtis is the craziest man in America. Serious times demand serious leaders and Curtis is not even in the same solar system as the rest of us. With tinfoil hats in hand, black helicopters swarming, and purple Martians landing, this election promises to be more entertaining than Saturday morning cartoons.
“I have worked hard for everyone in our district, and I’m confident that rational Democrats will come out and support me. With rational Democrats supporting me, this will be an 80-20 election,” said Feeney.
Curtis used to work for Yang Enterprises (aka YEI). Curtis claims that Feeney asked him to write code that could go undetected in voting machines an run without anyone touching the machine. Feeney was the lobbyist at YEI and in the Florida House. Curtis said he thought Feeney asked for the code to see if voting machines he be hacked. What Curtis said YEI told him was that Feeney wanted something much different.
"Her words were that it was needed to control the vote in West Palm Beach, Florida," Curtis said. "Once she said, 'We need to steal an election,' that put me back. I made it clear that I could not produce code that could do that and no one else should."
Curtis's allegations about West Palm Beach haven't been proven. An investigation proved that YEI overbilled the Florida Department of Transportation $248,255. I am not convinced that DOT investigator Ray Lemme was murdered. Perhaps it takes crazy to know crazy.
